The national research centre for rehabilitation in rheumatology (Nasjonalt revmatologisk rehabiliterings- og kompetansesenter, NRRK) has as an overall vision to ensure a high level of quality in the care of people with rheumatic diseases. It is part of the department of rheumatology, Diakonhjemmet Hospital, is located in Oslo, Norway, and is funded by the Norwegian health authorities. The centre consists of two units: 1.) A 5-bed unit on a national level for patients who need advanced rehabilitation, provided by a multidisciplinary team. 2.) A research unit which seeks to improve the national level of competence for multidisciplinary care among health care providers at the various departments of rheumatology and at rehabilitation centres for patients with rheumatic diseases. These internet pages are thus in Norwegian, presenting present activities and tools for health care professions. However, employees can be mailed in English for further information.
